Your Mom's Garage was born from a lifetime of gear, adventure, and good old-fashioned garage chaos.

I grew up in Southern California with a family who taught me how to camp - the kind of camping that meant tents, sleeping bags, and sand in everything. When I moved up to the Pacific Northwest for college, that love for the outdoors deepened into something bigger. Surrounded by forests, mountains, and people who live for adventure, I discovered backpacking, joined the Geology Club, and learned from friends and professors who showed me the ropes - and the gear.

Over the years, I've slowly built up my own collection of outdoor equipment, piece by piece. It's taken time (and a lot of money), and I know that not everyone has the access, resources, or confidence to dive into outdoor adventures the same way. That's why I created Your Mom's Garage - a space where anyone can find quality used gear without the price tag or the overwhelm. Whether it's your first hike down the road or your first weeklong backpacking trip, you deserve to get outside.

The name came to me while cleaning out my parents' garage - a time capsule packed with decades of sports gear, camping equipment, and memories from my childhood, my brother's, and even my parents'. It made me realize how much perfectly good gear sits unused, just waiting for its next story.
